Norwegian authorities require that employees who will be working on poles can document both practical and theoretical training. The course provides a fundamental theoretical and practical introduction to working safely on poles. Employers are responsible for ensuring that employees have the necessary training ("Regulations on the Performance of Work," Chapter 17). A competence certificate will be issued to participants to meet the authorities' documentation requirements.

• Climbing techniques  
• Relevant fall protection  
• Use of pole slings, support straps, and pole shoes  
• Evacuation  
• Emergency rescue procedures  
• Risk assessment  
• Self-inspection/evaluation of the pole  

Practical Information: The course certificate is valid for 12 months. Trygg Kurs AS provides all necessary equipment for conducting the course.
